  • OKR — Objectives and Key Results
    A goal-setting framework.

  • KPI — Key Performance Indicator
    Your north star metrics.

  • ROI — Return on (marketing) Investment

  • TAM — Total Addressable Market
    The full market demand for your product or service.

Acquisition & Performance Marketing Acronyms

  • CPC — Cost Per Click
    Amount you pay per ad click.

  • CPA — Cost Per Acquisition
    Cost to acquire a new customer or lead.

  • CTR — Click-Through Rate
    % of people who click your link after seeing it.

  • CVR — Conversion Rate
    % of visitors who take a desired action.

  • CAC — Customer Acquisition Cost
    Total cost to acquire a new customer.

  • LTV or CLTV — Customer Lifetime Value
    Total revenue expected from a customer over time.

  • SEM — Search Engine Marketing

  • SEO — Search Engine Optimization

  • Churn — Customer Attrition Rate
    The % of customers who leave.

  • UGC — User-Generated Content

  • SOV — Share of Voice
